Geneva:

The number of monkeypox victims worldwide is increasing. So far the disease has hit 58 countries. Worldwide, more than 3,417 cases of monkeypox have been reported.

In this context, the World Health Organization has announced that it is holding an emergency meeting on the spread of monkeypox infection. The meeting was held to examine whether a monkeypox epidemic should be declared internationally, or whether a public health emergency such as corona should be declared.

In this regard, the head of the World Health Organization Tetros Adanom met with reporters. At the time, he said, the spread of monkeypox was unusual and worrying.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said in a statement:

The World Health Organization has declared monkeypox an international public health emergency. Following this, it became clear that the epidemic was not limited to a particular country or region.

Social proliferation should be monitored by immediate action wherever it occurs. The world has been declared to ensure that there is little harm caused by this disease.

Severe pain, fear, loss of vision and loss of life are common in monkey flu sufferers.

Even children who have been saved so far are more likely to become infected as the pace of infection spreads socially in the current environment. There is a risk of transmission to wildlife, including pets. Experts warn that this could spread around the world.
