Maamanithan Review: Maamanithan movie directed by Seenu Ramasamy and starring Vijay Sethupathi, Gayatri, Anika, Manasvi and Guru Somasundaram.
Radhakrishnan, who may be an auto driver in Pannapuram village in Theni district, is living a beautiful life with his wife and two children. At that time a real estate broker named Madhavan was coming to sell his land.
Radhakrishnan, an auto driver who wants to send his children to a good school, becomes a real estate broker in Takunu and talks to the people in the town and tells Madhavan that he will sell this land to you. Radhakrishnan talks to Madhavan about giving him a commission for that.
Madhavan agrees. Did Radhakrishnan’s attempt to get his children to go to good schools succeed? Isn’t it ?. This man is the film that explains how Radhakrishnan became a man with an emotional screenplay.
Actor Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of auto driver Radhakrishnan. He has exhibited a good mature acting as a father to two children. The story of the film moves with him as the center. Vijay Sethupathi understands that and acts effectively and gets applause in many places.
Gayatri plays the role of Savitri as his wife. He realizes the nature of his character and acts perfect. Guru Somasundaram as Sikander Boy is mixing as usual. Shajisen, who is menstruating, cannabis black, KPAC Lalita. Anika and Manasvi, who will be the daughters of Vijay Sethupathi, have all exhibited realistic acting as Jewel Mary.
Director Seenu Ramasamy, as usual, talks about the life of a village youth with a mud mind in his own style. Although the story of the film is fantastic, it can be said that he has left a mark on the screenplay. The slow-moving screenplay in the first half was beyond disappointing as we eagerly waited for it to accelerate in the second half.
Although two music kings, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ilayaraja, composed the music for the film, the lack of lyrics or background music seems to be a setback for the film. Sukumar’s cinematography is neat.
On the whole it can be said that the ‘man’ has failed to warm the crown.
