LONDON: Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he will continue to work to address the grievances of the people as the ruling party loses two by-elections in Britain.

The ruling Conservative Party has lost a two-MP by-election in the European country of Britain. Following this, Minister Oliver Dowden, the leader of the party and close to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, resigned.

The ruling party is said to have embraced defeat due to issues such as the 40-year-old inflation and unprecedented rise in petrol prices.
“I do not intend to continue in office under the current circumstances,” Oliver Doughton said in a letter of resignation. In this context, Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke at the Commonwealth Summit in Rwanda:

By-election defeat is hard to digest. We need to fix the suffering of the people. It is important to control the rise in food and fuel prices. This is what the election results said. I will run these in full swing, ”he said.
