Adarsh George, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, who lives in Al Nahda, Dubai, said he felt the tremors in the morning.
The light tremor lasted for six to seven seconds. An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale shook Iran. The UAE National Weather Service confirmed a magnitude 7.37 earthquake in Iran. Residents in the UAE were affected but no one was injured, the authority said.
