Following this, Telangana BJP leader Koodoor Narayana Reddy has lodged a complaint against Ramgopal Verma at the police station. He has demanded to be prosecuted under the Prevention of Torture Act.
In an interview, he said, “Ramgopal Varma’s list of tweets is meant to insult people. Draupadi, he says, is the President of the Republic. We would not have had any objection if only Draupadi, Pandavas and Kauravas were mentioned. We in the BJP are hurt by Ramgopal Verma’s comments, ”he said.
