As the political crisis in Maharashtra continues, Rashmi, the wife of Chief Minister Uttam Thackeray, is talking on the phone with the wives of disgruntled MLAs.
Uttam Thackeray’s wife Rashmi is reportedly talking on the phone with the wives of disgruntled Shiv Sena MLAs. She is said to have persuaded her husband to talk to her and drop the dissatisfaction.
In Maharashtra, more than 40 Shiv Sena MLAs, led by Eknath Shinde, are staying in Guwahati as a separate team against Uttam Thackeray. As a result, the coalition government of the Shiv Sena, the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party is in crisis.
As Uttam Thackeray repeatedly spoke on video and tried to rectify the situation, disgruntled MLAs did not come down. In this context, Uttam Thackeray’s wife has been contacting the wives of disgruntled MLAs and urging them to abandon their grievances and force their husbands to return to Mumbai.
In this situation, the Central Government has ordered to provide Y-plus security to 15 disgruntled Shiv Sena MLAs based on the recommendation of the Central Security Agency to the Home Ministry. Accordingly, the Union government has ordered the provision of Y-plus protection to 15 MLAs, including Ramesh Bornare, Mangesh Kudalkar, Sanjay Shirzad, Latabai Sonawane and Prakash Survey.
This Y Plus coverage is also to be provided to their families in Maharashtra. It is noteworthy that 5 COPF commandos are there to provide security to each MLA.
