At around 4:15 a.m., the victim went to a hospital. She suffered a superficial wound, and there is no fear for her life.

The suspect, known to the victim, allegedly forced his way into housing in the borough of Lachine, in Montreal, located on rue Provost, near 13e Avenue, evokes the SPVM.

“Subsequently, a conflict possibly related to narcotics degenerated, and the suspect allegedly injured the victim in the lower body with a bladed weapon,” says Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the SPVM.

The 31-year-old then fled.

The scene of the crime is still protected, and an investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of this event.
