The South African Ministry of Health has said that corona prevention measures should be used to prevent monkey flu.
In the Cape Town area in the western province of the country, a person who did not go abroad was infected with monkey pox.
South Africa’s Minister of Health Joe Pahla has issued a statement saying that although the World Health Organization does not recommend the imposition of travel restrictions on the spread of monkeypox, it does provide guidance to local travelers on how to diagnose and manage monkeypox cases.
Tested in multiple layers at airports and ports during the spread of corona infection. This included checking the temperature of the passengers, filling out questionnaires about the health of the passengers, and analyzing them. This helped in early detection of the spread of the infection and prompt treatment.
The Department of Health works closely with the National Institute of Infectious Diseases to monitor the spread of infection in accordance with international health regulations.
Health officials are closely monitoring the situation and will take samples and test if symptoms are suspected. He said that if there were any symptoms of monkeypox, they should contact the health center so that they could be treated quickly.
