Suzuki India has released the teaser for the launch of the Katana Litter-Glass motorcycle in India. Looks like this model will start coming to the market soon.
Suzuki’s large models segment currently sells only models in the Indian market, including the 650cc V Stam 650XT Adventure Bike and the 1340cc Hayabusa. Suzuki is all set to launch the Katana Litter Glass semi-Ford motorcycle with the aim of bridging the gap between the two models.
The motorcycle is named Katana after the single-edged sword used by the samurai warriors. The Katana model is powered by a 999cc, inline, four-cylinder engine. This engine is used from the K5 GSX-R1000 model. It is worth noting that the same engine is offered in the GSX-S1000 model.
In the 2022 model this engine is provided with camshafts, valve spring and airbox, exhaust system updates. It also comes with a ride-by wire system, small 40mm electric throttle, traction control, bi-directional quick shifter and three throttle maps. It also comes with manual adjustable suspension and adjustable USD. Supplied with fork, monoshock included.
The new Suzuki Katana model features radial premo calipers. With this LCD Display, DFT Units are provided. The new Suzuki Katana model is priced at Rs. 12 lakh can be fixed. This model is similar to the Ninja 1000SX and BMW. Competitive for models such as the F900 XR.
