Was the man who killed the Udaipur tailor a BJP member?

by time news

In the much-talked-about Udaipur massacre case, the Congress has alleged that one of the main killers of the tailor was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Kanniya Lal, a tailor, was murdered in Udaipur, Rajasthan, for speaking out in support of Nupur Sharma, who had expressed anti-Islamic views.

Speaking to the press at the Congress headquarters in Delhi today, the media relations chief of the party, Pawan Khera, said that the media has published this very important information.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan state minority wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party has denied the allegation.

Minority wing leader Mohammad Sadiq Khan said that a photograph of Riyaz Ahtari with some local BJP leaders cannot be used to say that he belongs to the BJP.

He mentioned that anyone can take a photo with any leader and therefore he will not become a member of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Khan also said that he might have taken the picture with local leaders when he went to some event.

Khan has denied that it is not true that he belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party, as it is common for him to post pictures of himself with leaders or celebrities on Facebook or social media, and he had posted this picture as well.
