The Enforcement Directorate has also frozen assets worth Rs 235 crore belonging to Saravana Stores’ Golden House. Similarly, the enforcement department has also frozen assets worth Rs.173 crore, including land and bank accounts belonging to lottery seller Martin.
Already, in both Martin’s case and Saravana Stores’ case, their premises and offices were raided by the enforcement department. In this case, it has been informed on behalf of the enforcement department that action has been taken to freeze these assets based on the strong evidence received by the enforcement department.
It has been reported that the matter has already been investigated several times in court and privately and important evidence has been obtained. Now the enforcement department has frozen the assets in the complaint of fraud by taking loan from Indian Bank.
