Here, Dhoni, who lives in Ranchi, is suffering from severe joint pain due to ‘calcium’ deficiency. To get treatment for this, Dhoni came to an Ayurvedic ashram in the Labung forest near Ranchi. Ayurvedic doctor Vandan Singh Gerwar, who treated her for joint pain, charged Rs 40.
Vandan Singh Gerwar said about this: Dhoni’s parents used to come to me for joint pain treatment. Dhoni came looking for me when he saw that their joint pain had subsided. I didn’t know he was Dhoni the cricketer. For consultation, 20 rupees; I asked 40 rupees for Ayurvedic medicines, 20 rupees.
