Jeddah: The Ministry of Information has launched a virtual media center aimed at broadcasting news and consolidating media operations during the Hajj season. The Virtual Media Center will function as an electronic platform. The aim is to provide virtual media services to government agencies and media related to broadcasting Hajj news and events. For this, news, photos and videos will be uploaded in their original quality.
This is to benefit 750 media persons representing various national and international media houses registered on the platform from within and outside the country. The operational launch of the Virtual Media Center will coincide with the launch of the Hajj Media Operation Room. There are more than 35 qualified persons in the reporting team of the Centre.
