Roy Nissani, the Israeli driver in Formula 2, had a not-so-simple accident today (Sunday) at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone where he participated today. Already in the second lap of the race, Nissani struggled for the position with Dennis the hamster and lightly touched the hamster’s vehicle, which got off the track and lost control. But after a few seconds the hamster’s vehicle returned to the track and bounced slightly over Nissani’s car, when the two lost control and were disabled following the incident, from which they miraculously emerged unscathed.
Continually thankful and grateful for the advances in safety in our sport

Luckily for Nissani, the special protection bow built specifically for such cases protected Nissani and may have saved his life. Nissani finished the tests at the Silverstone track medical center and then said, “Thank you everyone for your concern, everything is fine and I will be ready to compete next time.” The broadcasters were also quite shocked by this accident and repeated over and over again that the “hello” (safety bow) had saved, perhaps, Nissani’s life.
