DMD Treasurer Premalatha Vijayakanth has said that Vijayakanth’s health is a little weak and he will recover soon.
Premalatha Vijayakanth on behalf of the National Progressive Dravida Kazhagam participated in an event to show support for the National Democratic Alliance’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu in Chennai. After that, he met the media and said that Vijayakanth’s health has deteriorated slightly.
Premalatha said that continuous treatment is being given as per the instructions of the doctors and Vijayakanth will recover soon with full health. He further said, “Congratulations to Draupadi Murmu on behalf of the women community as a woman candidate. Congratulations to the Prime Minister for choosing a good candidate. He is sure to win. Tamil Nadu has a long association with tribals. Valli, the wife of the Tamil god Murugan, also belonged to the tribe.
Draupadi told me that he will win and serve the tribal people and poor people in Tamil Nadu. AIADMK does not wish to comment on internal party matters. We are waiting to see who will win out of the two and what will be the result,” he said.
