Abu Dhabi: UAE President Doubles Fund to Help Low-Income Citizens Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has proposed restructuring the social support program for citizens.

Funds for housing, university education and unemployed citizens above 45 years of age will introduce new allocations. It also includes subsidies for fuel, food, water and electricity.

The new decision follows the leadership’s desire to provide a decent livelihood to citizens with limited income across the country.
