Battle of the East: Russia continues to advance, claiming that after succeeding in capturing the key city of Lisichensk, the entire Luhansk region is in Russian hands.

Ukrainian soldiers returning from the eastern front told the British Sky News correspondent that the battle for the city of Sverdlovsk that fell to Russia was “hell on earth.”
Another Ukrainian soldier told the network’s reporter that “if somewhere there should have been hell on Earth, hell should have been in Sverdnik.”
