In mixed doubles, Sania and Mate Pavic are in the semifinals

Sania Mirza and Mate Pavic have reached the semifinals of Wimbledon tennis mixed doubles. In the quarters, the sixth seeded Sania team defeated the fourth seeded John Piers and Gabriella in a three-game long match. Score 6-4, 3-6, 7-5.

This is the first time Sania has reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon. This is Sania’s best performance at Wimbledon. In 2011, 2013 and 2015, Sania was out in the quarters. If she wins Wimbledon, Sania can complete the career slam.
