Due to lack of modern gas cremation platform in Erumapatti Town, Punjab, the people of this area were suffering a lot. As a result, in the Councilors’ meeting held last March, a resolution was passed that the government should take steps to set up a modern gas cremation platform.
Following this, last month, the government allocated funds for the construction of a modern crematorium at the cost of 1.50 crore rupees under the capital grant scheme of Erumapatti Town.
After this, Town Panch. Chairman Palaniandi inaugurated the work for this purpose in Market Pettah. Officials said that the modern gas incinerator platform will soon be operational as the work is progressing rapidly.
