Cheap chartered flights for expatriate relief

ABU DHABI: Chartered flight service at a low price is a relief to expatriates who want to go home during the ticket hike. The service is run by a private travel agency (Alhind). The one-way fare is Rs 26,500 (Dh 1250).

The first flight to Thiruvananthapuram left Dubai yesterday. There were 183 passengers on this flight. It has been decided to bring the expatriates home in a total of four flights, including two flights from Ras Al Khaimah on the 7th and two flights from Sharjah to Kozhikode on the 8th. The agency also plans to charter more aircraft if required. Chartered services are a relief to expatriates who want to go home as they have to spend twice as much on regular flights.
