The President of Singapore, the Speaker of the Parliament and the Minister have been confirmed to have Corona.
The country’s media reported that: Atib Halima Yakub (67) has been infected with Corona after testing. In his tweet, he mentioned that he was experiencing flu-like symptoms and regretted not being able to participate in public events.
In addition to this, the media reported that the Speaker of the National Assembly Tan Xuan-Jin (53) and the Minister of Culture and Social Development Edwin Tang (52) have also been confirmed to be infected with the virus.
In the last 28 days alone, 1,40,965 people have been diagnosed with corona in Singapore. As of Tuesday, 14,73,180 people have been affected by Corona; 1,419 of them have fallen victim to the disease.
