Tirupur: Employees have been appointed to write forms and petitions for the convenience of the public at the Corporation Center office complex. Many people visit the Tirupur Corporation Center office daily to get various certificates and get Aadhaar card services. There is a situation where many people like illiterates and people from northern states are not able to fill the application forms. Some individuals were sitting in the office premises to write petitions and fill the forms. There was a complaint that some people were holding the office staff in hand, talking ‘rate’ and collecting money. Mayor Dinesh Kumar advised to take action in this regard. Accordingly, on the order of Commissioner Krantikumar, two employees of the Corporation were appointed for this. A table has been set up at the counter near the tax collection centre. These staff will assist the public in filling up forms for obtaining certificates, Aadhaar service, etc. for the corporation. As the next step, it is planned to arrange a separate place for this work soon and work related to petitions and forms will be carried out there.
