Washington: It has been reported that the satellite sent by the United States has deviated from the Earth’s orbit and is heading towards the Moon.

The American space agency ‘NASA’, in collaboration with two private research firms, launched a 25 kg satellite called ‘Capstone’ from Mahia Island, New Zealand last week. The satellite, which successfully reached the orbit of the Earth, started moving away from there and towards the Moon yesterday.

NASA scientists have said that the satellite will reach the lunar orbit in four months. Also, NASA is planning to build a space station called ‘Gateway’ in the orbit of the moon. It is also planned to land astronauts on the lunar surface as part of the ‘Artemis’ project.
