Vridthachalam: The police rescued the boys who were roaming around in the Vridthachalam area for four days and handed them over to the shelter. Seeing this, the auto drivers in the area informed the Vridthachalam police. The police interrogated the boys.
The two are sons Sridhar, 11, of Velayutham and Kasiyammal, who live in Indira Nagar area of Chinnasalem, Kallakurichi district; Thangarasu, 10, said that his parents had left the two at Balakarai in Vriddhachalam four days ago and said that they were going to Antimadam to work as a stove repairer. But since they did not return for four days, both the boys were roaming around in Vriddhachalam railway junction, temple and bus stand. .The police have temporarily lodged both of them in a private shelter in Vridthachalam. They are also investigating who the parents of the children are and where they have gone.
