Islamabad: Pakistan’s intelligence chief has ordered all officials to ‘not interfere in politics’.

By-elections for 20 assembly constituencies in our neighboring Punjab province of Pakistan are scheduled to take place on the 17th. Leaders of the Tehreek-e-Inzaab party led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan have made sensational accusations of Pakistan’s intelligence interference in the election.

Already, Imran Khan has been saying that the reason for the overthrow of his government was a conspiracy made by the army and the United States. In this case, Imran Khan’s party is accusing them of conspiring hand in hand with Pakistan’s army and intelligence to prevent their victory in the Punjab by-election.

Following this, Pakistan Army Chief Commander Kumar Javed Bajwa has ordered all commanders not to interfere in politics. In this case yesterday, Director General of Intelligence, Nadeem Anjum, has sent a report to all the officers working under him.

In it, he has ordered that no one from the intelligence department should interfere in politics. It seems that a warning has been given in the report that there is no place in the intelligence department for those who violate this order and interfere in politics.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s son Hamza Shahbaz is the Chief Minister of Punjab. Imran Khan’s party is demanding his resignation as he does not have the majority. The results of the upcoming by-elections will decide whether Hamza Shahbaz will continue as Chief Minister or not.
