4th seed Rafael Nadal of Spain defeated 25th seed Bodijk van de Sant Scalf of the Netherlands in straight sets 6-4, 6-2, 7-6(6) in the fourth round of the men’s singles in London. advanced to the final round.
In the fourth round of women’s singles, 18th-seeded Simona Halep of Romania defeated fourth-seeded Paula Padoso of Spain in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals.
