Madhavan’s directorial debut is Rocketry. The film is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a scientist who was caught in a fake complaint of selling the country’s secrets to Pakistan and escaped from prison. The film stars Madhavan as Nambi Narayana and Simran as his wife and the music is composed by Sam CS.
Made as a Pan India film, it features Suriya in Tamil and Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance in Hindi. Rocketry, which hit the theaters on 1st, has received mixed reviews from fans.
However, superstar Rajinikanth and others have expressed their appreciation to Madhavan for filming the tragedies in Nambi’s life.
