Famous music composer Ilayaraja has been appointed as a nominated member of the Rajya Sabha. Along with him is the famous athlete from Kerala P.T. Usha has also been appointed as a nominated member of the Rajya Sabha. As a result, both became nominated members of the Rajya Sabha.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Ilayaraja, PT Usha, who has been elected as a member of the Rajya Sabha.
