Clogged uterine bleeding in women with modern treatment- Dinamani

by time news

Government doctors have saved the woman’s uterus by stopping the flow of blood through modern treatment without removing the uterus, which was caused by the constriction of the blood vessels in the uterus.

A 19-year-old woman from Karumbukkadai, Coimbatore, gave birth to a child on June 8 through surgery at the Government Medical College Hospital. He was admitted to the intensive care unit 10 days ago when he went home after recovering from severe bleeding.

On examination, it was revealed that the blood vessels in the uterus had collapsed. Following this, the leak in the blood vessels was sealed with modern treatment.

Government Hospital Principal A. Nirmala said:

The victim was bleeding profusely due to constricted blood vessels. 5 units of blood were given as the first step. When the blood vessels in the uterus become constricted and bleed profusely, surgery cannot be performed to remove the blood vessels alone. So the uterus is removed considering the woman’s life.

But now, with modern treatment, the bleeding in the blood vessel is stopped without removing the uterus. A state-of-the-art pipeline cath angiogram at the Medical College Hospital showed that the bleeding in the vessel was occluded. He said that the most complicated treatment has been successfully done by the micro-radiology department and obstetricians together.
