Six people were killed and 32 injured in an explosion at a weapons storage warehouse in Yemen’s military base.

Yesterday there was a terrible explosion at a weapons depot in the southern province of Abyan, Yemen.

6 people died on the spot. Also, 32 people are seriously injured and are undergoing treatment. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.

However, some officials have said that many people have critical injuries and fear that the death toll could rise further.

This armory, owned by the government forces, is used to store weapons and explosives. These are said to be sold in the market at Laudar.

Last May, five people were killed when a man threw a grenade at a fish market in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden. It is noteworthy that 20 people were seriously injured.
