Registration opened for the additional “Discounted Apartment” raffle for those who have not won previous raffles. As part of the lottery, 5,000 apartments will be marketed in different cities and at discounts for young couples and the homeless.
In Ashdod, lotteries in total 166 Units for those eligible in the new Park Lachish neighborhood – according to the website of the Ministry of Construction and Housing. Of these, only 57 units are intended for city residents.
Three days after the registration opened, about 14,300 bidders have registered so far, these are bidding for 166 housing units, which means that currently 86 families are bidding for every apartment in the project!
For the locals, the situation is not alarming either. According to data from the Ministry of Construction and Housing, as of today, 3,703 families have registered for the lottery, competing for 57, which means that currently 65 families are competing for every apartment reserved for locals.
The high price that will cost the apartment is not deterrent, and as we published, the price of an apartment of about 100 square meters may cost more than one and a half million shekels (as stated after the discount).
