A study has warned of “serious” problems that may be caused by repeated infection with the Corona virus, with the spread of various mutations.
The study confirmed that each “new infection with corona carries a risk of medical problems” that may reach hospitalization or even death due to complications, according to a study published by the Research Secure research base.
The “Wall Street” newspaper quoted the study that “vaccines” and the initial infection with corona made “infections” during the current times less severe than they were in the early stages of Corona’s spread.
Doctors are concerned about the spread of the Omicron (BA.5) and (BA.4) mutant, which may increase the rates of corona infection again.
Although the study found that infection with the Corona virus may be less severe than before, but the recurrence of infection with it may create a new opportunity for the virus to harm the body, and with its recurrence and the passage of time, the “risk of cumulative problems may rise.”
The study indicated that with each repeated injury, “the risk of developing medical problems in the lung and heart increases during the first 30 days after injury,” and these risks may persist for up to 6 months.
And it found that among 100 people who had repeated infection with corona, five of them developed “lung, respiratory or heart problems within a period of 6 months.”
