The founders of Nous anti-gaspi did not wait for inflation to wake up in France to look for solutions to food waste: “54% of the products that are thrown away are thrown away upstream, by producers and processors, because their packaging is damaged or because they have reached their use-by date,” explains Vincent Justin, who opened his first store with a partner in the suburbs of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) in 2018.
