Bengaluru: Three Malayalees died in a landslide at Mangaluru Bundwal. The deceased have been identified as Biju (45) from Palakkad, Santosh (46) from Alappuzha and Babu (46) from Kottayam. Johnny, a native of Kannur, and Akhil, the plantation owner, who were injured, were admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru. The accident happened to rubber tapping workers. The accident happened at 7 last night.

The Central Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in coastal Karnataka districts following heavy rains.
