Having access to a camera, for example, a smartphone, the service checks the scanned QR code in the Unified Notary Information System and informs that there is a document with such details in the system or not. Notaries pay special attention to the fact that when scanning a QR code directly, without accessing the FNP portal, a citizen runs the risk of getting to a twin site, specially created by fraudsters, and receiving inaccurate information. “Therefore, it is very important here to carefully read the address of the opening page – even two rearranged letters in the word” notariat “/” notary “or an added symbol indicate that you cannot trust the information on the screen,” the FNP emphasizes.
