FRANCOFOLIES. The Francofolies de La Rochelle festival is back for its 37th edition, from July 13 to 17, 2022. Here is all the info you need to know about the event.

The 37th edition of the festival is held from Wednesday July 13 to Sunday July 17, 2022, near the old port of the city and in its performance halls. What delight the festival-goers and the director of the event, Gérard Pont. “The Francofolies are going very well and this edition promises to be one of the best since the creation of the festival”, he rejoices in the columns of Ouest-France.

It must be said that the hundred concerts of these Francofolies 2022 are almost sold out. For this 37th anniversary, the festival organizers have bet on an explosive program, including Calogero, Mika, Angèle, Juliette Armanet, Hoshi, Booba, SCH, Vald, Orelsan, Julien Doré or Clara Luciani.

After making their return in 2021 (the 2020 edition had been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic), the organizers of the Francofolies de La Rochelle festival quickly announced the dates for next year’s festivities: agendas, the public has an appointment from July 13 to 17, 2022 !

Tickets have gone on sale on the event website, here. Ticket prices vary depending on the day, the program and the venue where the concert takes place. Count for example 18 euros for the afternoon of Saturday, up to 50 euros for Sunday from 4 p.m.

Like every year, the festival is held in the city center of La Rochelle, around the old port and in various concert halls in the city. To get to the Francofolies de La Rochelle site, there are several means of transport:

  • By car : there are several car parks, underground or in enclosures, around the festival. Consider carpooling!
  • By bike : many bicycle spaces are provided around the festival, as well as a rental service.
  • and bus : the lines of the night network N1, N2 and N3 will run every evening of the festival. Regional coaches are also available, subject to reservation.
