A 50-year-old man was recently injured (Saturday) in a violent incident on Shimon Dahan Street in Tiberias. MDA medics and paramedics provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Poria Hospital while he was conscious, in a critical and unstable condition.
MDA paramedic Rami Butros said: “We were traveling with the ambulance when we suddenly saw the wounded man on the street signaling to us that he needed help. He suffered penetrating and bleeding injuries to his body. We immediately forwarded a report to the hotline in order to launch an intensive care unit to the scene and began life-saving medical treatment that included stopping bleeding, bandages and providing fluids. We transferred him to an intensive care unit and he was taken to the hospital while continuing medical treatment when his condition was difficult and unstable. “
Police have begun investigating the circumstances of the incident.
