Soaring food prices, fuel becoming more and more expensive at the pump, the standard of living is plummeting almost everywhere in the world due to inflation. Argentina, plagued by chronic inflation, faces an uncertain future. The Minister of Economy resigned last weekend. In Greece, inflation reached, in May, the figure of 10.7% according to Eurostat against the European average estimated at 8%. In India, the prices of staple foods are also soaring and this is weighing on households. New Delhi banned the export of wheat to avoid localized shortages.
