‘Bhavan’s Tamil Drama – 2’ drama festival is going on at Bharatiya Vidyapavan, Mylapore. On the occasion of the late director K. Balasandhar’s birthday, United Visuals staged the drama ‘Kasalau Nesam’ by ‘TV’ Varadarajan team the day before yesterday.
K. Balachandar enjoyed this play which was staged in the last 1998 under the name of ‘And Others’. Varadarajan, who takes voluntary retirement from the office and returns with 20 lakhs of rupees, cheats his wife out of the entire amount without listening to his wife. Knowing this, Varadarajan’s condition deteriorates when Lakshmi suffers a heart attack. He knows that money is the most important thing to ask for help from family and friends. Utdiyogam is not only a man’s laksana, but also one’s laksana is utdiyogam. Varadarajan – Lakshmi played a key role in transporting the audience into the play.
