In the second T20 match, wicketkeeper Pant was the opener. The Indian team, who played without losing a wicket till 49 runs, lost 5 wickets in the next 50 runs and stumbled. However, thanks to Ravindra Jadeja’s unbeaten 46, the score was 170/8 in 20 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma was also dismissed for 31 runs while Rishabh Pant scored 31 runs. For England, Chris Jordan took 4 wickets and debutant Richard Gleeson, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant took wickets.
The Indian team bowled out England for 121 runs.
