Nubia Red Magic 7S Series Release Date
The company has already confirmed the launch date of the Red Magic 7S series and that it will hold a launch event for the phones on the afternoon of July 11 in China. The phones can be sold out a week after launch.
In addition, it has also revealed a special Transformers Edition of the Red Magic 7S Pro, which is expected to be launched alongside the regular and high-end models.
Red Magic 7S Pro design
Official renders have been released, suggesting that the back of the phones will have a similar design to the previous generation models, however they will have some interesting changes on the front.
Both phones will have an under-display camera on the front, and on the right side there are pressure-sensitive triggers for gaming, and unlike the previous generation models, the Red Magic 7S and 7 Pro will also have a volume rocker and power button. On the right side, while the left side will have a red switch to activate liquid cooling. .
It can be seen that the phones have a semi-transparent back that does not show the components of the phone, and the camera module of the device has also been changed. It now has a rectangular shape with a triple camera setup arranged in a square shape, and next to the camera unit will be a cooling fan with cool RGB LED lighting.
The SIM card slot will be at the bottom, along with the bottom speaker and USB-C connector, and the 3.5mm headphone jack will be in the phones’ top right corner.
Nubia will also launch the Red Magic 7S Pro in a special Transformer Edition model, and the Special Edition model will have a Transformer-inspired design. In addition, the device will come in a hexagonal case and will contain a Bumblebee-inspired external cooler, a protective cover, and a few other accessories.

The specifications of the phones are very impressive. Both Red Magic 7s and 7S Pro editions feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. Since both phones are expected to have almost identical specifications, their performance will also be somewhat similar.
The two phones are expected to come with four different types of RAM, with a capacity of 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, and 18 GB.
As for the internal storage, the Red Magic 7S Pro will likely come with up to 1TB of storage, while the regular 7S will be limited to 512GB.

Both phones are expected to come with several gaming-centric features such as physical pressure sensitive triggers, gaming space, and an intelligent heating and cooling system. The phones will be equipped with ICE 10.0 liquid cooling technology and a single cooling fan for faster heat dissipation.
In terms of software, the phones are expected to run on the Red Magic 5.0 interface based on the flagship Android 12 operating system. They will have a USB type-c port, Bluetooth 2.0, NFC, a 3.5mm jack and 5G connectivity.
