Just over a month after the official announcement, Redmi’s Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro headphones are now available for purchase on online commerce sites. Buds 4 can be ordered for about NIS 130 to Israel, while the Pro model costs about NIS 250 in a sale that will last until the end of the month, after which the price is expected to rise above the customs threshold.

The Redmi Buds 4 are very reminiscent in design of Xiaomi’s Airdots 3, not the Buds 3. They come with active noise filtering, a rather unique feature in this price range, and an impressive battery life of up to 6 hours for the headphones themselves, and up to 30 hours of use Includes the battery in the charging case. Charging is done via a USB-C connection, without wireless charging support. Buds 4 is able to connect to almost any device via a standard Bluetooth 5.2 connection.

Buds 4 Pro has active noise filtering with greater filtering capability – up to 43 decibels, compared to up to 35 decibels in the regular model. They support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with extremely fast response in gaming mode – supported only by the latest Redmi phones, such as the K50 and Note 11T.

Buds 4 Pro are charged via a USB-C connection or via a wireless charger in the common Qi standard. Battery life is even longer: nine hours, or up to 36 together with the battery in the charging case. The headphones can be connected in parallel to two devices at the same time, and sensors should stop playing as soon as they are removed from the ear, and continue automatically when they return to their place.
