Ireland’s Tector scored his first century in an ODI against New Zealand.

The first ODI between New Zealand and Ireland is underway in Dublin.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl. Accordingly, the openers in the Ireland team were dismissed in few runs.

McPrin then took the field and scored 39 runs. After his dismissal, youngster Harry Tector put on an impressive performance.

He played like an anchor and scored his first century in an ODI. Tector, who continued to play well, scored 113 runs off 117 balls with 3 sixes and 14 fours.

His performance helped Ireland pass 250 runs. Tektor has played 21 ODIs and has scored 783 runs with a century and 7 fifties.
