Former President Donald Trump said Tesla CEO Elon Musk lied to him after he personally told him he had voted for him in 2016.
Musk said during a technology conference in Miami last May that he may have never voted for a Republican candidate, and for most of his life he voted for a Democratic candidate.

Trump also said he knows the Twitter deal and Musk will fall. The director said Musk would not buy Twitter at “such a ridiculous price.”
“Elon is not going to buy Twitter. Where did you hear that before? From me,” Trump said.
Trump called Musk’s contract with Twitter a “rotten deal.” “He’s not going to buy it,” Trump said. “Although maybe later. Who the hell knows what’s going to happen? He has a pretty rotten contract. I looked at his contract. A bad contract.”
Trump ended the speech by encouraging the audience to download Truth Social, his social media app, instead.
