Nakhavan: The police have arrested a man who dressed up as Lord Shiva in Assam and staged a street play against the issue of inflation.

In Assam’s Nagavan district, two men dressed up as Lord Shiva and Parvati staged a drama on the streets talking about issues including inflation. This led to a new controversy.

In this situation on Saturday evening, both of them went to College Chowk area of ​​Nakhavan while traveling on a bike.

Then they staged a drama in the area saying that the vehicle had run out of fuel.

In it, they protested the rise in prices of fuel, food items and other essential commodities.

After that, the man dressed as Shiva allegedly attacked Prime Minister Modi and said that the government is working only for the interests of the capitalists.

According to the media, he said that he does not care about the affairs of the public.

He also asked the audience to take to the streets and protest against rising inflation. Both have gone to Bada Bazar area and staged a similar play.

This has come to the attention of the Bajrang Tala organization and Vishwa Hindu Parishad organization of Nakhavan district. Both of them condemned the incident alleging that they had hurt the sentiments of Hindu Sanatana Dharma.

Subsequently, a complaint was filed against two actors Brinji Bora (who played Shiva) and Karishma (who played Parvati) at Nakhavan Sadar Police Station. Based on this, the police have arrested Bora. The media reported that he was later released.
