Two celebrity stylists have lent more than $ 35,000 worth of clothes for Cardi B’s younger sister, Hennessy Carolina – but refused to return or pay for most of the designers’ models, a new lawsuit claims.
Stylists Charles Reynolds and Xavier Banks received 52 items worth $ 35,306 from upscale fashion retailer Dover Street Market on April 14, saying the shoes were “shipped for purchase by their client Hennessy Carolina,” according to a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit. Last Week.
The pair of stylists agreed to buy or return the shoes until April 21 – but instead gave some of the items to rapper Melody “Mellowrackz” Faith Rock on Coachella, and “personally wore” pieces to the music festival themselves, the lawsuit alleges.
Faith “now refused to return the goods,” the lawsuit alleges. Nearly a week after the items were due to be returned – only six of the items were returned to the upscale Kips Bay store and four of the parts were damaged, Dover Street Market claims.
To date, the two have not yet returned or paid for the 49 items damaged and not returned in the amount of $ 34,331, according to the New York Post. “The Street Market spokesman works with many of the industry’s leading stylists on the basis of this delivery, and unfortunately, these stylists have taken advantage of the privilege,” a company spokesman said in a statement.
Faith was not named as defendant in the lawsuit. The prosecution also does not name Carolina as a defendant, nor does it bring any charges against her. Reynolds said the case did not involve his client Carolina, the 26-year-old sister of rapper “WAP” Cardi B, who appeared on VH1 of “Love and Hip Hop: New York.”

The stylist claimed he pulled the clothes for Faith – who allegedly took them and never paid for them.
“Mellow Rackz is the person who stole the clothes,” Reynolds told the Post, adding that he kept a lawyer and filed a police report against her. Similarly, Banks claimed, “Mellow Rackz is a thief and is the reason it all happens.”
“Mellowracks is really cheating its way to the top and using whatever it can,” the stylists’ representative said in a statement. “Famous stylists, Charles Reynolds and Xavier Banks are her latest victims.”

The two’s lawyer, Ezra Salami, said in May that legal notices sent to Faith and the administration had not been answered and the couple now intend to sue. Faith and management did not respond to a request for comment.
