Makkah: The devotee reached Makkah after traveling 6500 km on foot to perform Hajj. A British man of Iraqi-Kurdish origin walked 6,500 kilometers from Wolverhampton, England to Mecca to perform the Hajj. 52-year-old Adam Muhammad reached Saudi Arabia by walking through the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. It took 10 months and 25 days to cover 6,500 km. The journey started in the UK on August 1, 2021 and ended in Saudi Arabia last month.

Adam traveled an average of 17.8 km each day. The 300-kilogram wheelbarrow was fitted with speakers for Islamic recitations and personal items. Adam Muhammad said that the aim was to spread the message of peace and equality. A GoFundMe page was also created to fund the trip.
