Lucknow: 27 people, including children and adults, were traveling in the same auto and shocked the traffic police, hailing from Uttar Pradesh.
A video of the police intercepting the speeding auto and getting off one by one and counting everyone is going viral on the internet.
An auto was speeding between Bindi Kotwali and Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh. The auto was chased by the traffic police.
The auto driver came to know the situation and swerved the auto. Then the police asked the people inside to get down and if they saw that 5 or 6 people would come, the people kept coming. There were 27 people including the driver inside the auto which could seat only 6 people maximum.

UP claims that this is not the first time such an incident has taken place. Traffic Police. Not only in Uttar Pradesh, but all over the country, such incidents are taking place from time to time. On a single day in 2019, 21 overloaded autos were seized in UP.
In 2021, autos carrying more people were raided in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, for 6 consecutive days. Then 630 autos got stuck.
Even knowing that the chances of accidents are very high if the vehicle is loaded with too many people or cargo, such incidents do not decrease. It is said that the lack of adequate public transport vehicles and private autos and cabs play with human lives.
