Thiruvananthapuram: A youth was stabbed to death in Balaramapuram. Vishnu (23), a native of Kilimanoor, was killed. Vishnu, who was a biker, was stabbed by two people on the bike who came towards him. Death happened later.
The incident happened last night. When Vishnu was leaving the work place with his friend, there was an altercation with a gang on another bike. During the argument, one of the group stabbed Vishnu in the chest with a knife. Attempts were made to take Vishnu, who was seriously injured, to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
After the attack, the accused escaped from the spot. The police have registered a case and started investigation. There is no clue about the accused yet. The investigation is in progress focusing on the nearby CCTV. Police are also checking the presence of gangsters
After postmortem at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, the body was handed over to the relatives. Vishnu was an employee of a tar mixing plant in Rasalpuram.
