The Public Chamber of the Russian Federation proposed to legalize the list of banned artists

The head of the working group of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on combating the spread of false information, public control and security of the Internet, Alexander Malkevich, published in his telegram channel a proposal to give official status to the list of banned artists previously published by Fontanka.

Noting the unofficial nature of the list of 37 names of artists who “supposedly are now forbidden to sing and dance in the country”, the author of the post raised questions about the obvious, in his opinion, incompleteness of such a list, that not all concert organizers comply with the “ban”, and this list has no official status.

“Why does this list have no official status? The Public Chamber of Russia believes that such a status is necessary. That is, they approved the list – and that’s it, big hello. As a register of foreign agents,” Malkevich emphasized.

At the same time, the representative of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation put forward a proposal to fundamentally expand the list by “actors of the theater and cinema, leaders of various NGOs, publicists, journalists, writers.”

“Anti-heroes should know everything well in order to make appropriate decisions for themselves,” Alexander Malkevich explained the meaning of the initiative being put forward.
